As with other people only the power cable was sent not the actual dock.

The dock cleaned up my desk and gave me access to more ports than the old one. The only issue I have is that the serial number isn't recognized by the HP support assistant when I attempt to register it. Not sure if the issue is the dock or the support assistant software.

Laptop boot up takes 3 times longer than without connecting to this dock station using tuunderbolt. Another issue, it makes periodic noise, may be for every 30 seconds for about 4 seconds (sounds like fan noise, I do not know what is causing). Working from home in calm environment, the noise is annoying.

I ha e ever had an issue with the HP dockingststions. I have been in IT since 1995 I typically avoid HP products except for printers. HP was picked by my company
