So easy to install! Very quiet, well balanced, attractive. I have bought two now, and am about to order my third! Highly recommend!

After shopping for the right ceiling fan in three different stores, I found nothing that met my requirements. I needed smallish, hugger fans for two small bedrooms and I didn't want dark, fake wood looking things with frilly globes on the light kit. My local stores had nothing small that appealed to me so I took a chance online, knowing I could return them via Amazon, and I couldn't be more pleased with this fan! I bought two identical, white fans to blend away on the ceiling. The light kit is not corny, it's contemporary and bright! It will be great on gloomy, winter days of which we have many. The fan is substantial and well made. The air flow is excellent and they are quiet, which I greatly appreciate in this noise polluted world. I hired a handyman to install them and he did so in about an hour and a half. Both rooms previously had ceiling fans (one broken, the other wimpy) so that did make the install easier for him.

Don't believe anyone that says this fan may be installed in 1-2 hours. While it is easy, one should take their time. The fan arrived in good condition, no crushed box or broken globes. However, it was missing 2 critical screws and the 4 bumpers which were supposed to be pre-installed in the ceiling bracket. Fortunately, I save old screws and parts, so I found better screws (to lock in the fan motor into the bracket, kind of important) and had 4 thick rubber pieces I could install to provide a non-wobble vibration proof mounting of the sizable fan bracket to the ceiling box. Without these, I would NOT have been able to install the fan. So.... my recommendation is to NOT plan on installing this fan in a hurry, since you may need to wait some time to have these critical parts sent to you, if they are missing. Installation is a one person job once you have all the parts. The three 40 watt equivalent LED bulbs are cheap and I didn't even use them. Instead I used 8.5 watt Philips antique style clear elongated bulbs which give plenty of light and look much better than those supplied. The fan is attractive, works well without wobble, and now lights up the room. Note that the "fresh white" color is pretty true to the pictures, it is NOT a white white. It moves plenty of air at all speeds in my 14x15 guest room. The motor is quiet.

I thoroughly recommend this fan - it is quiet, stable and feels well made. The clear glass shades are a more modern, clean design than on other fans and also the light sockets fit regular base light bulbs! This fan does come with 3 led bulbs which are bright white in hue - but if you want to change them then the choice is huge!Electrician installed it for us so cannot comment on installation - the manual looks well written though.
