Absolutely perfect. The bowl of the spoon is wide enough to easily self-serve mixed nuts, olives, candied nuts, jellies & jams, etc. The handle is long enough to easily hold in your hand.The workmanship is beautiful. An excellent product at an excellent price.

Growing up my kids would always fight over who got to use the shell spoon. At the dinner table the other night my adult children asked where it was but the “ shell spoon” has disappeared! As a funny memory gift for Christmas I thought it would be great if all my kids and their spouses got a shell spoon. Now my grand children will get to fight over who gets to use the shell spoon at their house.

These spoons are very cute and will go nicely at our coffee bar. They are a little small but not too small. They have well weighted handles with a nice feel. The four stars is due to some minor rough edges where the shell ends. In the curves I found some sharp little jagged edges. Not all had rough edges and of the ones that did, some were a little sharper than others but that would not be an issue if only using for coffee and tea, etc. I chose to eat with one that had one of the sharper little jags just to see, and I could not feel it, however I would be cautious about a child’s mouth. No doubt kids will love these so just be picky about which one a child uses. Happy with my purchase.
