Great product for keeping your facial interface free of sweat. Easy to put on and take off. Will just wipe clean with a cloth. Keeps sweat from soaking into your interface.

I've owned a couple of VR headsets over the years and I have always grabbed a silicone face covering to protect the device from absorbing sweat with its default padding. This is no exception.The first thing I noticed when I pulled this out of its packaging was it's very thin. Out of the three VR silicone face plates covers that I've owned up to this point, this one is by far the thinnest of the bunch. I personally would have liked to have seen the nose section in particular being a touch thicker than it is because it's a little too flimsy and floppy for my likings.Once you get it setting in place though and are wearing your VR headset it becomes less of an issue, it's just I worry about it getting damaged or wearing out quickly because of how thin it is.Other than that though, this silicone face plate cover does the job well of keeping sweat off of your VR headset and even out of your eyes. The sweat that may form on top of your head will go out and around as it can't pass down through or get absorbed in any way so this prevents any issues like that and if you're in a situation where you're passing the headset around, a quick wipe down between person to person is a nice compromise compared to having to share a sweaty headset otherwise.

The purpose is definitely met by the face pad. But when I wear it for periods longer than about 2 hours it begins to feel like it is burning. Not a comfortable sensation on your face at all.

It’s just a thin overlay on existing default layer but it does the job of keeping sweat away from the sponge
