Item was poorly packed for shipping and arrived broken. Would work well for most clawfoot tubs if they are not also being used as a shower, which ours is. The shower curtain would necessarily be closed overtop of this hang over rim holder, defeating the purpose of being able to access the personal care items while actually having a shower. Unless you have your clawfoot in a Wet Room and can have the curtain hanging outside your tub, or not use a curtain at all? Unfortunately only fits on the longer sides of the tub, not the back or corners. The hang over portion s inflexible and cannot be adjusted to reshape for thinner/thicker tub rim.

Fits my tub like it was designed for it, and maybe it was. The tub is standard builder quality circa 1974, built-in (not free-standing), with a four-inch-wide flat rim, and both the inside and outside walls are straight (no curvature). The caddy fits perfectly, doesn't tilt and, consequently, doesn't fall apart. Use it on any other tub design--narrow rim, curved sides--and you may have the problems other reviewers describe. As for size, it easily accommodates three shampoo bottles and a covered soap container, but it's not so large that it gets in the way. The bottom of the caddy is 7.5 inches above the floor of my tub, which means I can have 7.5 inches of bath water before it reaches the level of the caddy. That's plenty of water for me, and I'm over six feet and over 200 pounds. The caddy can hang either inside the tub or outside. A neat design and well worth money, but only with the caveats mentioned above.

Very good looking construction and holds bottles well. It clasps the side of the tub so well and can be placed anywhere except corners. Recommended!

I wanted a rack to fit on the outer edge of my slipper bath to keep shampoos,soap, sponge and my glass of wine!As others mentioned I had end it to fit my bath side. This was easy to do. I am delighted with it. It takes up no space looks great and is useful. Thanks a lot.
