I only gave this three stars because four years ago I replaced this in my transformer for my landscape lighting. 4 years later it would not keep time. This is now the third timer in this landscape lighting transformer. Hopefully this one goes a little longer. The original, btw, lasted nearly 10 years.2/18/2025 FOLLOW UPUnit did not keep time properly right out of the box. Synchronous motor would intermittently stop and sometimes start again. Sonething is messed up inside. Returned it and waiting for replacement.VERY DISAPPOINTING3/1/2025 MY BADIt turned out that the previous two timers I ordered and returned because I incorrectly thought they didn’t work was because they were 220V models, not the 110VAC that I needed. I managed to overlook that detail not just once, but twice. Apologies to the manufacturer for my earlier harsh comments. The new one (110VAc variety) works great.Fun fact, the first returned unit I printed the prepaid label and affixed it to the original box. When I went to the post office, rather than wait in line, I dropped it into the mail/package prepaid postage bin. When the second one needed to be returned I was able to bring that one to the counter where I discovered the box I received the timer in is actually too small to send through the USPS. I went home and repackaged it. That box was able to be sent.Now I’m wondering what happened to the first one I returned. Lost forever in the bowels of the USPS machinery.Have to wait a few more days.
