I don't know what happened while I was replacing the battery for my iPod Nano 3G, but after replacing the battery and rebooting, the screen would only show a white/grey background and the iPod would beep twice. I must have broken something or ripped a ribbon cable somewhere, somehow, but I ordered this replacement board to confirm my suspicion that the display itself had broken and not something on the main logic board.Installing the new display took me all of two minutes to plug it in, and yep, it works! It looks great, exactly like the original display. It's crisp, clear, and bright enough to read at a distance. If I ever need a replacement display again for another iPod Nano, I know where to go now!

hard part was opening my nano device. after opening the device and installing the new screen, it will not close properly.

Looked good iPod did not work. Not sure why. Going to install a new battery. So screen did not turn on. My screen worked when I took it apart but was cracked. Not sure if it works.
