I wish it were slightly thicker. I'm not in love with the buttons, they don't snap very easily but it is lightweight and not to big so I can easily move it about and heck travel with it.

This pillow is solid, firm memory foam. It came in a vacuum pack, and expanded to full size after a short time. It smells like memory foam when your face is in the hole. I don't think I could sleep with this pillow, but it's good for short term use, like a face-down back rub. The cover comes off completely for washing.For the price, this is a good option for this type of pillow.

This is a very comfortable pillow/cushion that is particularly designed to be used during a massage. There is additional head cushioning as well, but basically you have your head in the hole, allowing you to breath unimpeded, and your arms inside the wells. This leaves everything supported while still relaxed. PERFECT DESIGN for a massage, very well thought out and quite well made Not too hard, but has sufficient firmness to hold shape. Easy to clean surface, and obviously really useful.

I have neck pain and I have my husband give me a massage to ease the pain.This pillow is great for us because I can now lay down on the bed face down and allow my hands to relax and my neck isn’t tensed up from twisting on a pillowcase.The cushion is very firm and supports my weight and the hole is big enough for my face. The hole could be a little bigger and the area below depending on the surface makes it hard to breathe. I put it on my bed so it was squished into it. Works better on a hard surface like a table or floor.It can be unzipped and washed which is nice. I don’t like the buttons on the side as I had to dig my fingers into the cushion to press on the back side to button it.Overall works well for my needs.

I bought this to help with recovery for retina reattachment surgery. I figured this give me the addition back support for laying face down on my stomach for seven plus days. The package come compressed for shipping and it is recommended that you allow the pillow to expand for 24 to 72 hours. Fist impression was the open space for you head was really small. I used this the first night after surgery, face down with my face in the hole. First, off the pillow was very supportive for my torso. The first draw back was the lack of air circulation for to the small openings in the .bottom. Also, the face space was very claustrophobic due to the very small opening and the small air spaces at the bottom. Why I rated this with one star. Is as follows. Starting in the first night less than a full night of use, my chin started to feel rough and irritated. In the morning I noticed the covering have beacons frayed and the seam in the face space was already wearing. This water was less than one night of use. The I irritation on my chick made my skin rough and it was unpleasant to sleep. I do not recommend this pillow for the price, the quality is subpar for convalescence purposes
