This dress is really pretty and it definitely fits as expected! It fit me like a glove save for the small exception that it needs to be hemmed up since I am too short for this dress's length, but that was expected on my part. The sleeves are made of a kind of material that feels akin to lace, so it feels kind of scratchy, which can be uncomfortable if you don't like that kind of material, especially if you're planning on wearing this dress in warmer weather. The dress itself though (sleeves aside) is quite comfortable and soft on the skin. It pulls over your head, although there is a small zipper on the left side under the arm. I'm not sure what purpose this serves though. It's not like you can squeeze your whole body out in that single hole anyway. It would be more practical to have that zipper in the middle of the back like most other dresses do, but I digress. I didn't need to use the zipper regardless, as I could just pull the dress up over my head to put it on and pull it off. The belt in the picture comes separately and it is attachable by buttons that are pretty sturdy. Being plus size myself, where my belly is where most of my weight is, I didn't feel like it was going to come popping off, but it still felt pretty tight on me. I don't know if they size up the belt with each dress size, so maybe I'll forego the belt when I wear this dress or get a new belt that's better fitting. Overall, the dress itself is wonderful and very pretty, but I just personally didn't like the way it fit or looked on my body--which is not at all the fault of the manufacturer, and thus why I am still giving 5 stars.

I followed the sizing chart as provided by the maker of the dress and so while I usually get a size 2XL this time I got a 4XL. I feel like a 3XL would have worked a bit better, this seems to be too big and it is much too long for my 5’5” height so I will have to hem up the over skirt. The lining is not too long at least. The top part of the dress is very pretty with flowers and leaves and vines in a gold and green thread. There is a zipper on one side of the dress that I didn’t need to use due to the dress being a bit big on me. There are no loops for the belt to follow so when I wear it the belt slips up- I will need to add some belt loops myself to be able to wear the belt with this. It is a very easy dress to take on and off and quite comfortable. If I didn’t have to do a few different home tailor jobs on it it would definitely be a five star dress as it looks very pretty and is so comfortable. Does it have pockets: no. Is it machine washable: yes. Would I recommend this item: yes.

Wore this to my sister’s black tie wedding and got so many compliments. It is very elegant and you can’t beat the price.

I'm only 5'5", so things are usually too long on me, which is the case with this dress! Unfortunately, it is too long and will need to be hemmed. I do love the design and I believe it is well made! The material is comfortable and seems to be high quality.
