These socks fit well and are very comfortable. There is extra "cushiness" on the sole of the foot (the "impact" areas mentioned in the description), yet the uppers and ankles are not at all bulky, and the snug ribbing on the ankles prevents them from slipping down, so these will be great hiking socks for my use.Colors in photograph are true to the socks I received.These would be a great gift for any Jeep afficianado; from Jeep models' various on-car Easter eggs, to drivers leaving rubber ducks on other owners' Jeeps to say hello, being a Jeep person is a particular type of "fandom," so it's likely any owner would appreciate receiving these.Fabric does not feel scratchy - they feel "natural," as if there was more wool content than there actually is - and the ease of them being able to be machine washed is great. Compared to other Smart Wool socks on the market, these are a great value for the price.

These socks fit well even though they say size 5-9. My shoe size is about a 10-11 and a regular B width.I’m always looking for really good (not cheap) socks to wear with my work boots because I need my feet to be comfortable while I, you know, work. I’m not looking for fashion, I need function.At first I was a little hesitant to go with a wool blend. Currently I have socks that are either 100% wool or 100% synthetic. The synthetic I bought by accident thinking they were at least a wool blend and I hate them. I was really not hopeful about a “wool blend” but since I have no experience with a blend I decided to finally try it. So far, so good!These socks are more of a light weight, which is awesome. I really appreciate the extra thickness beneath the heel and the ball of the foot. My work boots don’t exactly have a cushy insole so these socks make it a little more comfortable for me. As a crew sock they’re just tall enough to extend an inch or two over the top of my work boots so at no point do my boots directly touch my leg. So far they are comfortable and my feet don’t feel sweaty. The tops hug my legs without being too tight and cutting off circulation. After wearing and with friction (probably) there is a little bit of fuzz beginning to accumulate around the heel area. I don’t know if this will lead to pilling or not.The Jeep logo is very colorful and prominent but really can’t be seen when my boots are on. The star on the instep gets a little stretched out because of where it’s placed on the foot. The smaller Jeep logo on the toes is just kind of there and says “Hi” and it’s placed where it can be read by the wearer of the socks, at least before putting on shoes. It’s cute.

I ordered these socks in Fit Type: Crew | Color: Purple | Size: 5-10. I wear a 7.5 in women and the sock fits perfectly. They are soft and light and I am pleased with the order. I don’t own a Jeep but if I did I would totally be showing them off! But since I don’t I will still wear them with pride. They are great everyday wearing socks and since they are crew length they work great for my hiking or snow boots. I usually wear ankle socks with my tennis shoes so I will probably not sport them with those. According to the description they are made of 49% Acrylic 26% Nylon 16% Wooln 7% Polyester 2% LYCRA® Spandex, all a great blend to make a great sock. Overall I am satisfied with the product , but after continues wash and wear if the product does not continue to warrant the rating I am giving the product I will update the review with information and pictures.

I love these socks with sneakers. They are soft and the soles are cushioned, These are best worn with sneakers, boots, comfort shoes. A pair of my sneakers are slightly loose on the top part, probably due to wear and tear but these socks took up the extra loose space and making them look better. I would purchase again as needed.
