The JJC Filter is seriously a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a camera filter that doesn’t mess with your colors, this one’s it. I’ve tried a bunch of ND filters before, and they always seem to throw off the colors, but not this one! It keeps everything looking exactly like it should—no weird color shifts or funky tints. What’s really mind-blowing is the price. For how well this filter performs, you’d think it would cost a lot more, but it’s super affordable. It’s easy to use, too—just twist to adjust, and you’re good to go. Whether you're shooting in bright sunlight or need to bring down the exposure in tricky lighting, this filter handles it like a champ. So yeah, if you’re on the fence, just go for it. This is an awesome deal for what you’re getting.

I am not frequently using ND filters since most of my shooting either doesn't call for it, or my video camera already has built in ND filters that suit the task. However I appreciated the fine build of this product. I got the 67mm size and it threads on to my 70-300mm lens very smoothly with no hint of catching or wanting to seize up when removing it.The adjusting ring similarly has smooth and consistent motion with enough resistance to give some feel and precision. The markings for ND values run from 6 to 10 and the motion is continuously variable, not using stops or detents at those values. The image of a calibration chart is tiled series of consistently lit exposures starting without the filter mounted on the 70-300mm lens. To get the darkest ND setting and still see the chart, the ISO on the camera was at 12800, shot on a product table at about 4 feet distance. Normally I am using that table with the camera ISO at 100 to 200 and with a 28mm lens so I am in uncharted territory using ISO 12800.A nice bonus is the inclusion of a good lens cap that has the 'pinch' and spring back mechanism on the inside. The hinged case the filter is fitted into for storage is quite oversized which makes it bulky when the filter diameter itself is already 67mm. These large square cases seem to be a trend now. The one supplied for this filter is at least very well made of durable and flexible plastic; not something that will crack or split the first time it is handled carelessly. It also has proper hinges and a clasp that pivots as opposed to depending on a tight fitting lip that will loosen its grip over time.

The magnetic connection is truly helpful. The filter stays true in color and protects against over-turning to an x on the polarizing filter. Works like a higher end filter, considering the price.
