good selection of non ferrous [tested with a magnet] copper appearance butt connectors. i know copper isn't ferrous, but i have recieved in the past from other mfg/sellers copper/tin plated steel connectors and pins. these are safe. case is decent and appear to be good quality. i use these for sensitive applications, or things i can't afford to fail. crimp and solder. otherwise i'll use the cheap heatshrink wrapped connectors.

I got these because I read that butt connectors actually make a better connection with high amperage wiring, because solder can get too hot and start to separate. There are many sizes included in this set, and the case actually kept them all separated in transit, something that I was worried about. The smallest connectors are in a bag, so that they do not migrate into other compartments in the case. They are super easy to use, strip the wire, insert and crimp, then just put some heat shrink over it and you are good to go. A great purchase.

Not much to say about these...slip wire in, crush and move on with life.I have no idea if they're 'approved diameters' or the wall thickness matches whatever government abbreviation department monitors and regulates that stuff.I use them for simple electronics projects and whenever I don't feel like soldering (usually never)...twist and tape is sufficient for most stuff...but been building a solar system and the amps are way more than twist and tape permits so we're trying these out.
