You need to have a wired connection for these lights, or you will have to purchase some kind of adapter for them. They are very classic looking. The black looks nicer in my opinion. These are nice for a bedroom or foyer entrance

I wanted something I could turn on to read or just to have a dimmer light in the room and these are just what we needed! Adds the perfect amount of light, and added some style to the room! These sconces came exactly as pictured. While I had hoped the yellow would be toned down a but compared to the pictures, this coloring was also pretty spot on to the real item. They are beautiful sconces that will be a nice addition beside the mirror in our bathroom. Would recommend!

They are very easy to install, and you can install them with or without the wiring. If you choose not to do the wiring, you will need a battery-powered bulb or puck light, which the instructions for the lamps mention. The only issue I had was that the puck light doesn't fit with the lampshade, as the support arms are too skinny to accommodate a puck light. I purchased a rechargeable bulb that looks like a regular lightbulb and it works perfectly.I like that these lamps were so easy to assemble and install, and they look great on my wall.
