These are a hit and not just literally. The kids love them. They are simple and fun for lots of ages. Random enough that skill doesn’t matter too much. The music turning off is a huge plus for parents. The battery lasts long enough for a good fight session before needing to charge. They seem durable and have lasted a lot of playtime so far.

The kids enjoying playing with the robots - sounding off - head pops off once the target is hit - remote control allowing you to more the robots across the floor - Great!,

My son has been wanting these more than anything for Christmas. Right out of the box they are just terrible. I don't know how people can give these more than 2 stars. You can't steer them at all. They just spin and you literally have to put them together to fight. If you dont physically pick them up and put them together, it is IMPOSSIBLE to play, which totally defeats the purpose. On top of that, one of the heads that is suppose to pop up doesn't stay down and reset the robot so it just ends up "defeated" and you can't activate the remote when it is in that state. Total waste of money and totally killed the dreams of my little son. Just terrible. They shouldn't even be for sale.

I was really looking forward to using this with my daughter, and we had fun for a little while, but found it very limited in movement and does not run on tracks as it appears in the description photos. Fortunately the wheels do run OK on our carpet but probably wouldn't on thicker carpets. They are easy to set up and start running but the eject buttons are pretty sensitive and often pop the head off the with the slightest touch. Movement is limited to forward, back, and spin left or right, but is still fun to use and try to hit the belly of your opponent. They are cute little robots that are a fairly good value for what they are. Great gift for a family with two or more kids, and it will no doubt keep them busy for a little while.
