The price of this package of 2 plugs is basically what I paid at my local hardware store for 1 solid 1/2" plug. The quality is similar but the price is very good. Save yourself some money and get these. You'll have an extra at the price of 1 plug at your local hardware or marine specialty store.

These are great and really plugged my hole tight, no leaks!Needed these for a small air tank project, to plug unused ports.These are solid brass and the weight confirms that. the threads are true to size, went on clean and smoothly. They are true NPT with a tapered design and sealed the hole beautifully and with a bit of loctite for added security these aren't going to leak or vibrate loose.My least favorite part is the square head but I knew what I signed up for when getting these, so that's on me. I was still able to get a socket on them to tighten and the socket held without rounding the corners.
