Very soft and lightweight microfiber. Refreshing pattern. We live in the Texas tropics near a bird sanctuary so this print reminded me of the Great Kiskadees and Orioles that are local favorites of birders from everywhere!The print on the pillow cases was neither centered nor matched, but the way we use our big pillows isn't affected by that. It may bother someone who uses their king pillows in shams front and center of their made bed. The backs of the pillow cases and duvet cover are white, which means there is no flipping the pillow to use the best pattern forward. In the photo, I have the case on one king pillow and one regular pillow. Looking at it today, the difference in the patterns doesn't bother me now. The king size bed is in the slide out of our RV.We are in the transition season from cold to cool nights. The linen/cotten blend duvet cover I was using held too much heat and we were kicking off the comforter during the night. The microfiber of this new cover is so lightweight I was warm but not perspiring the first night. We'll see how it goes for the rest of the week. It's too soon to put the down comforter away, but the nights are getting warmer. This morning the comforter felt light and comfy and I didn't want to get up.What I really enjoy is the fresh spring look without it being too feminine. It also goes beautifully with the light buttery yellow sheets on the bed and will probably blend well with another set of pale robin egg blue sheets. It was so inviting the cat when to bed early and claimed the prime spot on the fresh and fluffy comforter.I like that the microfiber is easy to wash and dry. I've used it in the past and especially liked it in the summer. Such a quick turnaround in the laundry room that I'd put it right back on the bed instead of alternating weeks. This promises to be easy care as well.I like the ties in the corners. There are two separate pieces so they are very easy to tie in a bow. Some duvet covers have loops and you have to get creative to secure them to your comforter. The hidden zipper opening is actually at the bottom edge of the comforter, making it easy to find and use. It has a pretty metal zipper pull, which seems like a minor detail, but it's nice for the person who's remaking the bed.Last season when it was too hot for a blanket yet too cool for just a sheet, we used the linen/cotton duvet cover as a topper without the comforter and it was just right. I don't know if this microfiber will be enough for the summer, but we'll see. The bright white and fresh print are so nice I hope to use it for awhile, even without the down stuffing.All in all, I like this king size Bloom Studio Duvet Cover for a pleasant change and it is certainly affordable even if it only lasts a few seasons.------Used this for several weeks now and I love it! We don't get too hot with the microfiber and the print just makes me happy every time I see it!------Bought an ultra lightweight queen size down blanket for summer so I just ordered this same duvet cover in a queen. I wasn't ready to give up the bird print when I put the kingsize duvet and cover away for the season.

My mother is an empty nester and decided to turn her extra bedrooms into a themed guestroom. This duvet goes perfectly with the bird-themed room. I like that they had ties to hold the comforter in place and from sliding back creating a lump in the duvet. I like the softness of the duvet and the hidden zipper. The duvet fits nicely over the comforter giving it some wiggle room. The quality of the duvet makes the duvet look like you spent much money but the set is at a great price. This duvet set comes with 2 standard-size matching pillowcases.

Very beautiful print, texture of material great. However zipper broke with opening, not the sellers fault. However I can not support manufacturer. In time of tariffs I did not send it back. Safety pins close it just fine.
