I like the shiny finish but no timing mark… picture shows only inside of timing cover.

I had an engine that didn't come with the timing cover. So I bought this one to put on it. It worked and it's there. It needs the rubber seal to be siliconed in. I typically only silicone at the corners of the pan gasket to the rubber seal. Did that on this one and had a constant drip coming from right at the bottom. Corners didn't leak at all. Has to remove the pan and silicone both sides of the rubber seal and reinstall it. Then no leaks. Chrome/aftermarket stuff is always a pain. I should have known.
