They are very thin as described in other comments, but also fun and customizable in how you build the cactus. Does the job of a coaster well and doubles as a fun display piece on the side!

LOVE the look of this coaster plant! It is fun to make it something new each day. As coasters... not the best. It is foam so it absorbs the condensation and soaks through. Still, I do like the look on the desk.

The coasters themselves are a foam material so they aren't the best quality. I like that you can tuck all the coasters in the pot if you don't want them sticking out. Sometimes the weight of the top makes it fall out of the pot and it has to be readjusted but they look very nice as a functional piece.
