This metal sliding fidget does quite well at keeping fingers busy, but not without some practice to accomplish some of the things done in the video. At first I was dropping one half when sliding. It does come with two thin plastic wafers that stick to each side to make it more quiet. Use one for a little quiet and two for more quiet. Sadly, if you use both, the plastic sticks to each other making it hard to slide the two halves. I'm using just one. Overall pleased.

I collect fidgets, and spotted this one. Usually fidgets on amazon are low quality to ok at best. This one stands out, high quality. Fun to fidget with, it feels like the magnets are medium strength. It has loud satisfying clicks if you like that in a fidget. Though if you want a quieter version of this fidget the two 3M surface with one side that's sticky you place (very easy to do, b/c of how its not bendy) on each side of the inner plates dampens the noise a good amount, making it much quieter. Thus better for fidgeting in public spaces, offices. Though I wouldn't reccomend movie theaters. If you want a dead quiet fidget, the indx flux (not on amazon) is a magnetic coin fidget that has no sound when fidgeting.Definitely recommend this fidget slider, buy it before they're gone!

This is an interesting little magnet powered fidget toy that would be good for an older kid or an adult.It comes in an attractive little box that would be a nice gift for someone.When I first used it, I didn't get it...but after using it for a few minutes, it loosened up a little bit, and it clicked, so to speak. The magnets stop on steps, feeling like a well machined device with notches. I found it to be interesting to mess with while taking work calls this week.It is a very shiny finish, which will kind of look gross and covered in fingerprint smudges right away. So if that is a problem, this toy probably isn't for you. But I found it to be a nice addition to my desk, and I idly pick it up far more often that I thought I would while I work.
