They work until it rains or snows. They go bad in a hurry. Not water tight. I even installed a drainage trench to keep water flowing away from these. The brand laster years. I've replaced these 3 times and still have some new ones going bad.

7/4 update - company did send a new product, however, due to recent injury, I have not been able to attempt to install. Update coming one healed. Changed star rating to 4 until can check product quality.Purchased these lights awhile ago and recently (fall of 23’) got around to installing them. They worked fine for the first 2 months and then they begun not working. All connections were secure based on connectors. 2 of the lights decided to just stop turning on, 4 of the lights will not light up the color that’s selected, and the remainder are working fine (for now). However, now I’m going to have to buy different lights and do another installation and toss these. Out of time to return so this is the only option to ensure no one else gets screwed by this poor quality product.

I purchased these lights 4 times. The product information says they are warranted 2 years. You can purchase a premium warranty for 3 years. So the 4th time I purchased, I purchased the 3 year premium warranty. I purchased Nov 30, 2023. So they are not a year old yet. I went to use my 3 year premium warranty and found that it was refunded after I had installed the lights. What’s up with that? And now I can’t reach them as my “return window has closed!” But it said they are warranted for 2 years without the premium warranty. Won’t make this mistake again.

I would like to say that this company has TOP customer service people. They are very responsible and are very helpful with ANY customer needs. The most important thing is these lights are very beautiful, look neat and clean installed and are a neighborhood show stopper. The customer service after the sale is very responsive to any customer questions. You can trust that you will be purchasing from a well respected seller.

I love these lights for their brightness, color, and size. I installed them in my pier creating holes to recess them in the pylons. I bought screen springs and cut and re-bent them and used bell wire to fasten them to the lights to make tension springs. I wanted to be sure that the lights wouldn’t fall out of their holes since I was installing them horizontally. I created each hole by using: a 3 ¼ inch hole saw to get flush with the round pylon; a 3 inch hole saw to an approximate ¾ inch depth for the flange area of the light; and a 2 ½ inch hole saw for the remaining depth for the barrel of the light. I removed the unwanted wood to create the hole socket by drilling multiple holes using small diameter drill bits, hammer and chisel, Arbortech gouge ball, and finally a 2 ½ inch Forstner bit to complete the hole. I also installed button switches at right angles to turn off each light separately because I wanted to split the group into separate colors. I soldered all the wire splices and taped them. Each hole took an hour to create and each button switch took an hour to install. I am pleased with the result.
