I use it on my cat which goes wherever I do when I am out of the house. Being low to the ground and reviews of people saying the latch broke on them I was worried. However the clip has remained strong with no signs of breaking. She is a cat so this this has taken its beating being dragged along the ground and such. It's got scuff marks on the bottom. Yet the clamp still works. I put it on when we leave and take it off when we come home.I've had an employee start hassling me from 20-40ft away and then stopped as the other workers noticed my cats medallion. He was instantly able to recognize it's significance from that far away the moment my cat turned and faced him(as she is trained to for loud noises). This thing is great and I don't regret buying it. It is the perfect size. Any bigger and it's weight would become a concern for a cats neck. Any smaller and it'd look like an everyday animal tag. This makes it clear that the animal is more than a mere pet.

I clipped this tag to the side of my dogs carrier and have never had a problem with her since. I love having this because it saves so much trouble of having to stop and explain to everyone about why I have my dog with me in a public place. I will definitely have to get more of these because they are light weight but are big enough for people to see and read as they walk by. But please, if you don't really have an ESA and you just want an excuse to bring your dog with you every where please don't get this. People like that have given people with a real ESA a bad name and I just ask that you please consider the people who really do need an ESA and the hurt you may be doing to them. Don't get me wrong, I love my animals and would love to take them everywhere and since I live in a small town most places don't might if I bring them in with me as long as they are well behaved. That's the advantage of living in a small town, because everyone will know you and your dog. If you want to bring your dog in, just ask an employee if they would mind or a manager. Especially if its a hot day, most people will love to have your dog as a ray of sunshine in their workplace. But if you do get a mean fuddy duddy who is a control freak, don't worry about it and try again next time!
