Fits well, it is not reflective, just a print. Wasn't clear from the photo doesn't look like the original. Kind of disappointing

I have a newer model MIM jazz bass. I had to file an area near the control knobs to get it to seat properly. NBD. For the price, it’s hard to beat!

I ordered this pickguard to change the look of my Fender Jazz bass. I wanted a little more vintage look and this worked perfectly. They have several different colors so make sure you get what you want. I went with the vintage tortoise shell like they had in the 60’s. The pickguard is as well made as the original Fender one, and it was a10 minute swap. (After getting the first one I ordered another for a Squier Jazz Bass I have and once again it was a perfect fit. No adjustment needed. Great quality for this price).

I read some of the negative reviews before I bought this pickguard. I've bought a lot of bass and guitar parts from KAISH before and have always been very happy with fit and finish. This pickguard didn't disappoint! Prefect fit, I just had to Dremel a truss rod access hole. Some people complained the fit at the control plate was too tight, this just requires loosening the control plate screws to let the pickguard seat itself, then re-tighten the screws. All my screw holes lined up perfect. I freaked a bit when I peeled the protective plastic off....I thought the pickguard was damaged.....There's another layer of plastic protection...Once I peeled off the second layer of plastic, the pickguard was perfect!.

Overall this pick guard looks GREAT! Especially for the price. Also delivered next day with Prime. The only issue was, it did require a bit of sanding to get it to fit. The neck pocket specifically was a bit too shallow. So I used a Dremel tool with a small sanding drum until it fit just right. At $11, this pick guard was more than worth the extra ten mins of work, for ME. But it’s something to keep in mind, as not everyone has the ability or desire to take the steps I did to get it to fit. I’m giving it four stars for that reason. It would’ve been five stars if it fit just without modification.(Fender Modern Player Series Jazz Bass)
