Nice filter set. The combo is very useful. I wish there was more metal on the magnet ring to allow it to be more easily installed and removed, but that is minor. The quality of the glass is top notch and the magnets are quite secure. Very happy with this.

This Kase Variable ND & CPL filter is a good system for quick changes.- There are three parts: The magnetic adapter ring, CPL filter, Variable ND.- The filters are attached magnetically and can be removed and re-attached very quickly. It presents some risk that the filter may fall off upon impact.- The CPL is rotatable, since it’s held by magnetic force. There’s no handle on the CPL and you have to rotate the front element together with the VND- Variable ND has a filter. The handle works well and it doesn’t rotate the CPL, until it reaches the hard stops. When the variable ND hard stops are reached and you still rotate the filter, the CPL will rotate.Overall I think there’s some learning curve in dealing with the CPL portion, but the big benefit of this system is the super quick attach/detach through the magnets.

The glass is flawless. The range is a good, usable range that won't put you into any weird artifacts. I like that the scale is in stops, not ND. The two adapters should get you where you need to go. It's crazy how strong they pull magnetically. The tool will be useful to keep on hand if you end up using the inset adapter. They include a second handle in the case should the installed one get lost. Nice.

So I've found a filter system that I'll actually use, even look forward to.Up until the past year I've always used the old standard screw-in filters, and they're plentiful. I have quite a few collected over the years. But I rarely used them. Why? Because they're not very convenient out in the field. They're slow to install and slow to dismount. Easy to drop when trying to thread them on, sometimes scratch or crack when I do, and prone to locking up when stacking two or more. So they were left at hone unless I had made plans in advance for a particular one/These Kase filters are fast to put on, far less likely to get dropped and broken or scratched since they're held in place magnetically. The ND's don't have any obvious color cast to them, and stacking for just the right amount of light control is easy. With a wide selection of magnetic filters, it makes the perfect system to settle on. I can't recommend them enough.

Best thing is to get one that is as large as the largest lens you have e.g., 77mm or 82mm. They attach to a ring that screws onto the front of your lens. By getting a larger ring you can use step up adapters to you can use your filter set on your other lenses which may be smaller. This can however present a challenge if you want to use your existing lens cap, but case has magnetic lens caps that you can use if you want to keep the case lens size on there. The caps are magnetic, just like the filters. The real bottom line is that it is better to have one larger high-quality filter set that you can use with adapters for all of your lenses, rather than getting a lot of lesser expensive ones of lesser quality for each of your lenses. The polarizer is included which is great for getting the glare off of water for example. What sets Wolverine apart is one that it is tempered optical glass. The other thing specific to this set is that you can either rotate the lever to adjust the ND, and rotate the entire filter to adjust the polarizer. Wolverine provides outstanding performance and uniformity throughout the entire photo. It is the best filter set I have tried so far. Highly recommended.
