Possibly the battery is fine for other applications but it does not even faintly light up my Petzl Actik headlamp. Kastar Battery was charged overnight; shows green light, but I suspect at 3.6V listed, there's not enough potential to fire up the Actik headlamp. (PETZL CORE battery is rated for 4.2V.) Suggest you have 3 rechargeable AAAs as backup or bight the bullet and get the $30 CORE battery for this application.

I got this to use in my Petzl headlight. Fits perfectly and works well. No more replacing disposable batteries.

Was really hoping to save money and have a back up for my Petzl head lamp which I use all the time to go out after dark to do task in the stable or chicken coup. Unfortunately though it looks the same and and voltage says it the same and the add says it is compatible; it WILL NOT operate my Petzl headlamp.

This is a great rechargeable battery alternative to the Petzl CORE battery for Petzl headlamps. Works great, perfect fit, holds it's charge well and a great price.The item I received may be an updated model from the one in the listing photo. As it has a USB-C charging port and a color indicator that tells you if it is charging (red) or fully charged (green).
