These are just what I needed for the 3D printed mold boxes I make. The M3 cap screws kept striping in the printed walls and I would have to print new ones. At two hours a print it gets to be too much. That's why I got these inserts. I started making the new mold parts before receiving these from Amazon which was a dumb mistake on my part. The diagram that shows the dimensions of these inserts for the most part is correct. However the measurement for "Dk" (the flange) on the M3 item listing is incorrect. I made my part for the 5.5mm listed and the measurement is actually 6.8mm to 7.25mm. So that part had to be reprinted. All in all I'm happy with the product.

Love these rivet nuts!! I use them everywhere and this latest application was to frame mount a fuel strainer. My go to when something better than self tapping screws or simple bolt & nut fastening is called for.
