It's tight, stretch is not simple or quick, but that's exactly what I wanted. It's gotto keep a door open even against some strong winds, so too much stretch would not be a good thing. It works perfectly for the intended purpose.

Lo regrese porque solo llego un solo cable elástico y la publicidad marca paquete con 10. Y me llegó nuevamente solamente 1 solo cable . Me parece que fue engañosa la publicidad . Mejor hubiera elegido otros

I bought these to use on the elevator in my apartment building, which is one of those ancient elevators with a door and accordion gate. The springs on the gate bounce back too quickly for you to get in and out of the elevator, especially if you're carrying anything. In past buildings, these elevators have something that holds the gate open, but this one doesn't. I needed a fast fix because I was getting furniture delivered that I would have to bring up from the lobby myself. This helped hold back the elevator door so I could do so, and helped hold open the front gate of my apartment building for getting the old furniture out.

I was skeptical when I saw the price for this bungee cord. I was expecting a flimsy, cheaply made cord but was pleasantly surprised. The bungee cord I received is very durable, thick and much better than a lot of the bungee cords sold by competitors. So far, I've use these to secure the cover to my a/c condenser unit during wind/hail storms after the flimsy, thin bungee cords that came with my cover broke. These are 13" and don't stretch well but I was able to stretch them a bit to secure them in place on my unit. Great value, great product.

We ordered this thinking we would get 10 pieces as per description but there is only 1?
