I've got a 50 lb pittie. I got the cage about 2:00 or 3 years ago. For the first year and a half to two years it worked great. Over the last three months my dog has decided that he is going to try to chew his way through the cage. I don't have a camera setup, so I'm not sure what all went in to breaking the cage apart. I can tell you that the cage bars are hollow, therefore he was able to chew at them repeatedly until eventually the welded spots started loosening on the door itself. Once he figured out that he could do that he chewed and banged at the door until the latch was messed up and the outer bars were disconnected from the inner bars of the cage door. If your dog is intimidated by the kennel, or just in general not that determined, this would work great. If your dog has already been through a couple of heavy cages already, this will be no different. The quality was fantastic and it was easy to set up so I think it's a great cage, just not durable enough for my dog. And yes it did mess up his teeth.

We had an older version of this crate, but our dog managed to systematically destroy the bars over the course of three years. Note: this is a 60-pound dog who didn't spend much time in the crate and is well-loved.Eventually, she managed to compromise the integrity of the crate. We tried reinforcing it with chains, such that over time, the crate was more chain than bar.Finally, we broke down and bought another crate.I'm not entirely sure if the company now makes better crates or if we've simply broken our escapist's spirit, but so far, so good. No bent bars, no bent latches.It's a good size; there is a crumb-catcher underneath which makes for easier cleaning; and it comes with wheels, just in case you want dents in your walls.

This Crate is absolutely Amazing. My dog has been able to escape her crate even though we secured it in everyway possible. She has not been able to escape this one, it's very sturdy, I love the fact that the pan is not accessible to her, she can't get to it, she's destroyed the pan from her previous crate. I highly recommend this product. This crate was unbelievably affordable and worth every penny.

The cage was delivered on date promised. Seems like a very secure unit. Although Cujo may appear harmless, he can eat through those wire cages in less than 15 minutes. All parts plus a spare of all were included in the box. Very pleased and Cujo agrees 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕..
