This product was everything I expected it to be and more. It was extreme. It was extremely sturdy and very well built. It will build. Unfortunately due to me ordering the wrong size it to me ordered the wrong size I had to return it. However I am ordering. However I am ordering the 2 up drawer version.

Very solid, exactly what I was looking for. One of the screws was loose upon arrival, so the drawer wasn't able to open all the way. That was very easily fixed, however. Looks and works great

It's very sturdy, no question about that. It's somewhat heavy for a 1U unit though. So heavy in fact that it needs support to not bend down, it is only held in the front and not good for free floating - too heavy for that. For me it works because it is leaning on the below element. It would be better if mounts for the back would be added as well. The lock is worthless because it cannot be locked. I have a 1U unit. If I want to lock it u, it just bends the top casing metal upwards and then it does not catch the hook. I think the hook is too far back, and the latch itself is too long and touches the top casing 3/4 to the full locking position. So even sawing/fileing down the latch might not help either - not constructed well. I just dont use the lock.I didn't purchase it for the lock anyway. Also it came only with 3 screws. Not a problem for me, I had plenty leftovers. I normally would return it but its mounted now and I don't have the boxes anymore.

I was able to get this drawer to work but only with significant modification. I would not recommend this brand of rack mount drawer at all.Problems:- The lock parts are not installed correctly and prevent it from locking AT ALL! With the drawer fully closed, the bar that turns when you lock/unlock hits the small metal catch that is spot welded to the top inside the stationary part of the drawer. I uninstalled the lock and removed the white nylon washer, which allowed the locking bar to sit just barely behind the metal catch.- The slides are of low quality (or no QX) and were falling out of their guides. I had to disassemble the entire drawer and bend the guides closer together to hold the drawer slides.- When trying to close the drawer, the top of it would hit the front of the small metal catch that is spot welded to the top inside the stationary part of the drawer. I had to grind the front of it down to a slope to prevent this from catching. If it had been flipped around where the angled part that was spot welded was facing the back this would not be an issue. The top of the drawer was not bowed down either.- There is a clearance issue with the drawer opening. The top of the drawer must be pulled up to close easily, without binding. This is happening when the top is perfectly straight. It must be pulled up to the point it is bowed a small amount to close the drawer easily. If it's pulled up too much the lock will not engage the metal clip fully, and it can be pulled open when locked. I drilled a hole in the top and used a bolt to slowly raise the top and lock it in place ones the perfect position was determined that allowed opening and closing without impeding the lock function.

Very disappointed. The drawer came with no key! I had a key for another drawer that is similar to this drawer and the key worked, but when you shut it and lock it the lock doesn’t even catch so you pull on it and it still opens.
