shockingly good for under $40. strong magnets stick to my rack effortlessly. clamp down and hold plates solid. Easy on/off. Was debating some titan TwistLock Pro Barbell Collars for $70 and a redditor suggested these and i couldn't be happier with them. love that the parts you touch are metal as i hate plastic in the gym. only improvement would maybe add a textured knurling on the latch.

As others have noted, these fit both 2" and 1.9" bars. I am currently alternating them between an old Powertec machine and a 1.2m Olympic bar. Narrow width is a plus. I find less torque is needed to disengage the clamps than conventional collars. The magnets allow easy storage. Will see how they go with repeated use.

Love these clips.Beware, if you clamp both sides, it's very hard to unclamp them. We have had great success with using one clamp only which makes them very easy and fast to use. I love that they magnetise to the rack. The only consideration is that they do magnetise to metal plates e.g. fractionals and you will probably drop them.

Having these clips is easy to use, durable, nice and fit great in your bag. They make for a nice, quick barbell set-up and are magnetic so they’ll stick on the rack. They make a great lift all the more enjoyable when you have a product as well designed as this. It’s worth spending a more for a product that put this much time and detail into their design product and manufacturing.

The features you get, at this price, are unbeatable. With 6 other pairs of collars and a substantial amount of "overbuilt" home gym equipment, these are my favorite and go-to collars.Pros:- Magnetic, stay on rack wherever you need and facilitate ease in working sets and swapping weights. Yes I know we're working out to stay active, but as a home gym enthusiast, big fan of QOL (quality of life improvements) that make me enjoy and focus more energy on actual lifts.- Fit both standard olympic and axle collars. Now this is actually huge.... at first thought they were incredibly tight on standard olympic bar. You can get both sides of clip down for a real tight fight, but now just use one side and the hold is absolutely strong enough for my SBD sets, though would double clip it for oly lifts. Where it shines is my axle or speciality bar, that typically have a slightly smaller OD (outer diameter), you can use both sides of the clip adjustment to get a secure grip. Said plainly, where I previously needed 2 sets of collars for diff OD sleeves on bars, i now just need this one- The net weight is 1.25lb, which i dont add as a i track my lifts, but nice to just have that nominal incremental weight on them all (maybe if going for a PR ill count the 1.25)- Price, going to be real honest, these rip the design right off the Eleiko Oppen collars. I have no problem with it, most of even the largest and most "notably Made in US" manufactures these days having limited innovation and ripping off other designs anywhere (for example all the Rogue fans out there.... Rogue literally stole MM UDA design for their velicidor, and the squat max design to build the rhino and had to go through legal and M&A to make it right...)Cons- a stronger magnet would have been nice.... sometimes after a heavy set and being winded, if i take the collars off and slap them on the uprights, they might slide an inch or so because i only got them partially on (2 magnets inside, so i got only 1 on the upright). This is a petty thing, especially for a collar that is 25% the cost of its closest functional competitor, but also a pretty easy fix.If these are up, and if there is a coupon on them (like when i bought for $10 off or something), dont think twice. Huge QOL (quality of life) upgrade for my gym, and easily a good first collar purchase so i wouldnt have ended up with 6 others (included multiple rogue, giant lifting, and titan collars)
