My Jeep Grand Cherokee's key fob shell broke, causing the key to fall out. I ordered this replacement hoping my original key would fit, but unfortunately, it didn't. Luckily, the purchase included a blank key that I could have cut to match my original. Now my key is fully functional again. This product, even with having the key cut to match, was way cheaper than what the dealership would have charged me for a replacement!

What it doesn't show is that you Can change the actual key from your old fob and install it on this new one. No need to have to get it cut.

I purchased 2 of these fobs for my 2006 Dodge Durango as my original fobs lost the rubber to lock the door leaving the mother board exposed. I thought I could just change out the mother board and key, I was wrong. Replacing the mother board from old fob to replacement fob was easy and they fit perfectly; however, the key to both the original and these replacement fobs I bought are attached to the fob. I was able to have the replacements duplicated for $5 each at a key shop. My total investment for 2 new key fobs was $25, best money I’ve spent, much cheaper than OEM replacement and they’re perfect. I highly recommend these fobs for my type of vehicle.

Purchased this key fob replacement case for my 07 jeep grand cherokee. It's a great replacement key case that looks exactly like my original key. Old key was destroyed so I just easily transfered over the chip into the new key and fit perfectly. Don't try and remove the original key from the case because it's not the same shape as the Amazon replacement key fob case. I tried Canadian tire, home depot, lowes, rona and a few locksmiths and couldn't find anyone who would deal with automotive keys or keys with chips in it so I was lucky enough to find this life saver. If you live in the GTA, I strongly recommend check out my homie THE 6IX LOCKSMITH. He's located on kipling and lakeshore but he also drives to you for an extra charge of course. Great guy, awesome dude. Took him about 2 min to copy the original key to the Amazon replacement key fob key that comes with it. Amazing work!
