Definitely recommended for beginners like me. So you don't have to spend so much and get a good enough result. And since I'm NO expert, I'm not sure whether the CPL really works well. It seems so subtle. Can't get rid of reflections on the water in a sunny day.

this makes my face look dry its hard to remove the polarizer!Get the one without the polarizer

They worked great. It's nice being able to change darkness. The only bad thing is I didn't have it screwed on tight and it fell off. I then stepped on it while hiking and scratch them up. I did get some great pictures while hiking with it. I would definitely buy it again.
