Very cute unique shape and the red color is just beautiful. I’ve found no defects in the quality of the ceramic. I did change the twine cord to a wire, as in my experience the twine can degrade over time and I don’t want to chance this falling out of the tree and breaking someday. There is no door or method to clean it out, but the opening should be big enough to be able to pull old bedding materials out at the end of a season.

My first Spring having these, and I love love love. Birds have already built a nest inside of it, and it looks absolutely beautiful for the price. I have the red and will be ordering the blue for next season.

Looks awesome and is really nice because this type will last in the elements, unlike those wooden ones that fall apart and the metal ones that fade over time and lose their once prominent colors.

The hole is a little to big for wrens in our area so i made a wooden plug with a smaller hole. I keep it out of a sunny area so that it does not get too hot-being ceramic.
