Filter pump does not work. Tried connecting the USB to a noble battery still wouldn’t get the pump going. I requested a replacement and it wouldn’t even arrive on time. What am I going to do if my beta fish died because of the mishap!?!

Suction on the filter is too strong for our beta fish. We pulled out the power for the pump (and left the power cord for the light) and he is thriving now. We tried blocking the 2 filter openings with plastic lids that had a few holes drilled in them to reduce the suction and the fish would still get sucked to the side. Just the right size for our bathroom counter.

It’s a great tank for a smaller setting (eg office) if you don’t use the filter and keep up with the water changes. The filter and divider take up way too much room for an already small sized tank. I was able to fit in sand, a plant, decor, heater, and thermometer and have swimming room. Only complaints I have are that the little clips that keep the lid attached to the tank do not stay on. They kept coming off so I had to use tape to keep them on. Plus, there’s no opening on the lid to have wires. I had to unscrew the light for that. I bought this tank cuz I really like the minimalist/modern design of it. The bottom has little stands that give it about 0.25 in elevation. But for the size of the tank and its problems as stated before, the price was very high.

I don't normally write reviews, but there a couple things with this aquarium that I thought were worth sharing. I am really enjoying having this on the bar in my kitchen for my betta, and appreciate that it doesn't take up too much space. Just a couple things from my experience that I wanted to share.1. I read some reviews about keeping the water filled nearly to the top in order for the filter to not be obnoxious. I have it about a half inch from the top and it's nice and quiet. Discovered that with the wall in place, my betta can leap the wall in a single bound and get himself stuck in the back.2. I read a lot of commentary about the filter being too strong. While I don't disagree, I found a way around it so that I can still use the filter. I put a betta hammock leave at the top near the filter and it absorbs a lot of the pressure so it's not too strong for the fish, but also has the benefit of the water being filtered.3. Because the water goes behind the wall where the filter and sponge are, I also put the heater back there. It fits just fine and doesn't take away from swim space.4. You're for sure going to want to buy another plant other than what comes with the aquarium, as it's not nearly enough coverage for the fish.I'm attaching a couple links of the things I'm using that I found on amazon. Hope someone finds them helpful.Heater: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S22DCDV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Plant: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M0NC1UM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Betta Hammock Leaf: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FIPDVT4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
