Simple, Inexpensive, Got the job done. Came with everything I needed to do a brake bleed for my Shimano GRX system. Well, it was missing the T25 wrench mentioned in the manual, but it's not on the product page so I wasn't expecting it anyways.This kit is a great value, and I was able to do a bleed on my rear brake without any leaks. Turns out I didn't really need a bleed though because I had no bubbles haha. I was able to improve the brake feel by adding a little pressure at the caliper, so that's all I did for my front brake.To explain further: if you're brakes aren't "spongey" but instead have a lot of wasted travel before hard braking at the very end of the lever pull, it may be because your pads are slightly worn so there's a larger gap between the pads and the rotor. You can alleviate this by adding more fluid pressure at the caliper by pushing fluid in with the syringe and closing the bleed screw at the same time. Push harder for more pressure, lighter for less pressure. No need to use the funnel or open the screw at the lever. Spin the wheel to check for brake rub, and relieve pressure at the caliper if needed. When it comes time to replace the pads, remember to release the pressure so the rotor can fit between the smaller gap.

An inexpensive bleed kit that should work for most Shimano brakes. I like the fact that the bleed kit is not universal with a bunch of different adapters that can make it confusing to figure out which one to use. There are no instructions included on how to bleed your brakes but you can find a lots of good YouTube videos on how to do it. If you plan to bleed your brakes regularly, I would recommend getting a metal bleed port adapter because the included plastic one is easy to strip out. But even the expensive Shimano Professional Disc Brake Bleed Kit at 3X the price of this kit also includes a fragile plastic adapter that I stripped out before. This inexpensive kit also does not include the stand for the reservoir that is convenient but not necessary. It is missing the Torx wrench that is listed in the parts list but most of time, you won't need it for most Shimano brake levers because most of them use hex keys for the bleed port caps. The syringes and reservoirs seem a bit smaller than kits I used before it will but will do the job.

I recently upgraded my bike from cable brakes to hydraulic and decided to try this bleed kit for Shimano, Tektro, and TRP hydraulic disc brakes. It's impressively comprehensive for the price, including all essential tools for effective brake bleeding, plus extras like a clamp for sizing brake hose. The process was straightforward, and I easily eliminated air bubbles, thanks in part to the thoughtfully designed funnel with a stopper. This feature is a lifesaver, so there’s no frantic rush to reconnect the funnel to the bottle once bubbles stop appearing.However, the absence of included instructions was a bit of a setback, leading to some trial and error. Despite this minor drawback, the kit performed exactly as promised and offers outstanding value for money. I'm thrilled with its performance and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to handle their brake maintenance with confidence. I bought this brake bleed kit to service my Shimano hydraulic brakes, and while the kit will the job done, there were a few hiccups. The kit includes most of what you need—syringes, tubes, adapters, oil filling fittings and 100ml of mineral oil—but seems a bit limited. I feel like they could have included a few more oil filling fittings.If you’re on a budget, this kit should work for you. But if you’re looking for a smoother, more reliable experience, you might want to invest in a higher-end set.
