This filter and gasket are a match for my girlfriend's 2013 Jetta Sportwagen 2.5l which was overdue for new transmission fluid at 110,000 miles. Make sure you verify with pictures on someplace like Rockauto whether or not this filter looks like the correct one for your specific VW model, because they used a lot of various transmissions in different applications and this filter won't fit every 09G transmission. It would be really nice if the manufacturer could supply all the correct applications in the listing, but instead they leave it up to the buyer. Hard to blame them too much since VW parts interchange can be especially confusing.All that being said, the ATF included in this kit is of especially high quality, and I believe is worth the cost if you would like OEM-type fluid (or close as you can get). It's genuine Febi Bilstein, made in Germany. The filter and gasket kit are Rein Automotive, an established brand which sells parts for German vehicles. They are made in Taiwan. It would be cool if they made note of all this in the listing, because I ordered this blindly without fully knowing whether all the parts would be any good. I guess "LAIPZ" just repackaged stuff and is selling it as kits on Amazon, which is perfectly fine by me. It was all very well-packaged in a small box. None of the bottles were leaking, and the rubber pan gasket was laid out flat and not smooshed.All around very satisfied.
