I needed a small lightweight pump for travel and saw this. Upon arrival the entire plunger was rusted and it does not have a threaded end. This was def used before.

I was looking for another pump to use on the bags I previously bought. I wanted to be able to leave one home and one at my vacation home. This fit my other bags perfectly!

Great for on the go. Use when I go camping to pack more things without having to worry about space. Saves a lot of space easy to use, strong durability. Works great and good for the price. Suction is good makes the storage bags very flat.

I purchased the VMstr bags that came accompanied with a small electric pump which initially worked well...until it didn't. It didn't last two weeks before failing. That prompted me to search for a manual pump with less moving parts and hopefully better reliability.That led me to purchasing this one. FAR better results. This pump allows for far better compression than the original because you can pump out air until you just physically can't anymore. The electric pumps can not. Their small motors will reach a resistance limit where they can't suck out anymore air...and that limit is significantly lower than the limit for this pump. Also, for the bags I have, the pump interface with the bag valve is threaded just like the valve cover caps. This ensures a good seal while you are pumping air out of your bags.The ONLY two downsides to this pump vs the smaller electric ones are size and time. That being said, this pump IS larger but not so big that you can't easily pack it with you. The time to pump the air out of a bag is slightly slower using this item in comparison to the electric but even so, that varies based on how fast you pump and how much air you want to remove.Bottom line: This is the more reliable option even though it's larger and potentially a little slower. Even with that, it does a far better job overall than the electric pumps do.
