I was apprehensive about this set but my curiosity got the best of me. I think there's a place for darker messages but wasn't convinced this set would be balanced and my concerns panned out. I'm very familiar with tarot and oracle cards and think they can be useful for guidance but only if they represent a variety of outcomes. This set is biased toward negative situations and outcomes hence the 'Dark Confessions' name. With tarot cards if the card is negative, it's understood that the card can have a different meaning if upside down. There's no book or online resource to accompany these cards so it's impossible to know if they operate the same. I don't personally believe that an oracle would only have negative messages to relay but that's implied with these cards. I'm sure they'll resonate with someone but they don't resonate with me.

I was a bit Disappointed when I saw the size of the card. I expected them to be regular size tarot cards. I still love the cards.
