They are are also thicker and slightly heavier, closer to the weight of a traditional saw, but still lighter. The saw is powder-coated red and is extremely scratch and damage resistant. The Cam Lever Tension is designed for rapid, repetitive blade changes (when piercing for example). The tension does not change when re-setting the blade. Simply flip the lever forward to release tension, re-position and clamp the blade, and flip the lever to the rear, and you are sawing.

This is a nicely designed saw, came with a blade attached, don't know what size it is nothing to say with contents. Arrived in a box, placed inside a paper padded parcel post bag. Nicely balanced saw.

This is a high quality product. There are less expensive options out there, but if you want a good fret saw, that will serve you for many years, this is a fantastic option, well worth the investment. If you can afford it, you should get it.

Best fret saw I've ever used. Blows the cheap Homedepot alternative out of the water.
