I chose the Willow toilet seat design. My Kohler toilet is a more classic style and my previous toilet seat was a more classic deign, but I thought the modern design of the Willow model would look nice. This toilet seat is a high quality plastic that is rigid - meaning that if you sit on the lid when it's down, it DOES NOT cave in as some cheaper models do. The lid on the Willow model is slightly concave and it's comfortable to sit on both open and closed. I honestly thought that I might miss my old toilet seat, but after one use, I feel like there will be no adjustment period.The design of this seat will make cleaning much easier because it only leaves an exposed rectangle of the porcelain between the tank and the bowl to be wiped down. With my old seat model, I had to try to clean around the attachment housings (see photo). I also think the plastic seat will be much easier to clean than my old Painted MDF model (that stained!).From an installation perspective - it was quite easy. Took me about 5 minutes. The only "glitch" I had was that when I went to tighten the screws into the nuts, I needed to hold the "t" on the nut from the underside so that it wouldn't spin around as I tried to tighten it. And, here's a tip: To avoid having to adjust the positioning of the installation plate, pay close attention to your alignment so that the seat is properly aligned (I suggest you read the opposite side of the instructions before you finish tightening to make sure you have it aligned properly before tightening the screws completely).All in all, I love my new toilet seat! So easy to install, feels solid and sturdy and has a clean, modern look. 5 stars!

This is an item that certainly presents a feel of luxury. I don't know the exact terms to describe a toilet seat, but this is a quality product. There is a certain width that makes it aesthetically pleasing to look at and also comfortable. The installation eas definitely easy and with how it is made, I don't see it coming loose or failing anytime soon.I love the slow close feature and that it is quite resistant to slipping or movement. It is very easy to clean and overall just a great investment.

This is a perfect quiet, close lid… And you know how we guys seem to slam the lid down and have to hear the noise afterwards about not being careful, Will never again… Now when you lift the lid to do your business all you have to do is flip and the lid slowly closes, making no noise and keeping you from getting yelled at

Will update review if any issues arise. Replacing the Kohler Cachet seat with the new Willow (all three of our Cachet seats have cracked after slightly over a year of use - and I'm not a 200+ lb gorilla) and only 1 of the three was replaced (with another Cachet) by Kohler as a 'good will' gesture...The Willow's look is definitely different (Willow is more modern looking and does throw the look of our toilet a bit more into the modern direction, but all of the newer Kohler thermoset plastic seats have this modern look (Willow, Carbyne, Papyrus, and Lithe). The seat weighs more than the Cachet while having a more trim profile, the thermoset plastic material is more 'dense'. I'm optimistic that I won't be replacing this anytime soon.
