I love these Binoculars. I mostly use them for birding and they are great. Clear, easy to use and built well. Even the case to store them is of good quality. I highly recommend these to anyone interested in a good quality pair of binoculars.

Returned it and purchased Fujinon 20x 40 from B&H - model just out to market 1/30/2025 so I had to pre order it. Thinking of buying Fujinon another one for upstairs bedroom- for awesome ocean view in the morning

Lightweight, close focus, solid. I use them primarily for birding but anticipate using them for butterflies and dragonflies. Their mid-range price point makes them a good buy.

The binoculars are fantastic--lots of light, very crisp image, easy in the hand, on the smallish side versus other binoculars that are no better but a tad heavier and larger. Seem very well made so far. The high rating is for the binocs, not for the strap! Only flaw is that the strap provided is too short so I cannot carry over one shoulder across the body and still have enough slack to lift up to my eyes to use. Carrying over the shoulder on only one side (not across the body) risks dropping them too easily when futzing with backpack, water bottle, etc. I had old binocs and I switched the old longer strap which luckily fit all the slots on these new Kowas. Now I can carry them over the shoulder across the body and still easily lift up to eyes to use. (Too bad because the new Kowa strap is nicer.) They need to make the strap longer because the new strap they provided is non-functionally short. But the binocs are very very nice.

Love the weight of these binoculars! They are superb for birding and worth the money! EXCELLENT quality!
