I wore these as part of a costume for a week in the Sahara Desert, they kept the sand out of my boots almost completely, and looked great doing it. A bit hard to get on and off, and they don't seem like they would stand up to long-term use, but for an occasional costume piece, great.

These turned out perfect for Halloween and didn’t have to buy boots .

My brother in law is not a fan of wearing boots. He has special sneakers he wears for medical reasons. So, when we go to events that have dressing up involved, he has always looked out of place. These did an excellent job of making his shoes blend in better to the rest of his, and everyone else's, outfits.
