This was a great addition to my soldering table! I have to use it with the provided base, as my work bench doesn't support the table clamp. Thats okay though, because that means I can move this around the house as needed.The light ring offers plenty of light, and the magnifying glass is crystal clear and offers a decent amount of magnification. I used this to repair one of my synthesizers not too long ago, and it performed perfectly.Set up is super simple out of the box, and the arm is stable and easy to manipulate when moving the glass into position. I appreciate that they included a power brick to power the light, but I needed up just plugging it into a powered USB hub to save my outlet space, it works like a champ!The arm can be folded up to conserve desk space when not in use, or can be extended up and out of the way depending on your preference. Either way, it does not take up much space. I personally use this for soldering, but it can be used for all sorts of purposes that require a magnifying glass and 2 free hands.I am glad to have installed this into my work area and I recommend it!

I fell in love with this immediately. USB makes it super convenient, the metal build feels high quality and the light can get extremely bright on the highest setting. It was easy to put together and took no time at all. The other review about packaging must have been accidentally sent a returned unit because this item ships with laser-cut foam carefully holding each item in place, separate from each other, and I immediately noted extra care was taken in it's packing layout to keep metal away from the magnifying lens.Even at it's original price this is a great value, but I was sent a white one to review and when I saw them go on sale for 50% off I immediately paid for a black unit as well :D .
