I can not be more positive about Sportiva’s Katana Laced model! This purchase was my fifth pair over the past decade! Previous four pairs have been repaired with new toe and heel caps at least once, two three pair, repaired twice.I love the laced version rather than the buckle with Velcro strap because of my higher instep. I found the laces afforded a more intimate and even fit with less pain on the top of my feet from the buckle.For me, 1/2 size less than my European shoe size was a little tight to start, but had a short break in period. Performance? Very grippy and durable rubber for both outdoor and indoor technical climbing. Edging and smearing, excellent!So why did I have to get rid of the other shoes? Despite efforts to keep climbing shoes disinfected and odor not too offensive, you will know when they have to go! I tend to have one pair in use and a backup for when resole is necessary.Hope La Sportiva never drops this model!

Me encantan. Son las segundas que tengo y, para calzado bajo, son las mejores. No hacen rozaduras en ningún sitio del pie. Agarre excelente. Muy recomendables.

Grips to everything! I wanted more technique than aggression, and this is just what I needed. My buddy wears the Miura, and whether it's the aggressive styling of the shoe or how much he's downsized, he has to take it off frequently. At first this felt a little narrow on my feet, but after wearing them for a few sessions, I can wear these comfortably for 3+ hours at a time. Get the lace! It doesn't take much longer to put on/take off than the velcro.

queste scarpette hanno voti alti in ogni dove. sono una garanzia. Perfette su ogni parete, su roccia o in palestra. si adattano abbastanza al piede per chi come me ha la pianta larga. ci mettono un po ad allentarsi, ma una volta sfondate sono una seconda pelle. da non prendere troppo piccole soprattutto per chi usa calzini sottili.

After trying several different types/brands of climbing shoes, I decided to give the Katana lace a try. It has a very comfortable fit for a lace shoe and locks in great. Once the shoe is broken in, the smearing is no problem. Edging with this shoe is amazing. There is enough rubber on the sole that when you stick your foot down, there is no doubt that you aren't going anywhere. I am sold on this shoe and don't plan on venturing to a different type/brand anytime soon.
