If you take a lot of measurements, because you make wine for example, this is a cost effective and reliable way in the long run, vs the stick kinds. This is a rather large machine, and will take up some space on your workbench. But once setup, it's so easy to use, and seems very accurate. It seems well-constructed and should last for quite a bit of use. I've honestly not figured out the data storage system, which is a bit confusing, but since I manually log measurements, it's still been quite helpful and works fine for my needs. The display is big and easy to read if you use it for basic readings. I also plan to use it to improve my hydroponics garden this year, great machine.
