I keep this in my truck and use it for snakes when I see them out on the ranch. Makes me feel very comfortable and staying out of harms way.

The telescoping pole locks up nicely.Good and tight and unlocked with just a little effort. The trident was very sharp. I first tried it to pick up leafs no problem poked thru the leafs repeatedly ,and I removed them by sliding my hand down. Afterwards it was still very sharp.Great tip. Thanks

Be sure to look down the page a little to Product Description". There you will easily be able to figure out all the different combinations and what comes with what.The product seems well made. Locking and unlocking the sections requires twisting the actual rod to lock and unlock the sections. It took me about 10 seconds to figure out that it was not the gold grommet's that you had to tighten, but twist the rod itself. One way locks and the other way unlocks. Very similar to most other types of extending poles.With all the mixed reviews, I agonized for hours which pole to order from and which vendor, or if I even wanted to order one at all. .The nice thing about this one was all the different order combinations offered. Poles by themselves. Spears by themselves. Or combinations of different poles and spears.Happy, happy.....
