These are a great affordable alternative to my Matouk Azure Eiuro Shams. Great Quality beautiful corn flower blue trim. Wish they offered a matching duvet cover. My dog loves to get on my bed and she sometimes gets it dirty, this his been a lifesaver for me. I can still have the bedding and color's I love without dry cleaning or worrying about overpriced shams being ruined. I love the linen trim, I highly recommend! Great for kids room and guest room as well. Looks incredibly high end.

The underside, which is light blue and white diamonds, has a cotton sheet feel to it. Conversely, the more detailed top medallion side has a bit of a rougher feel to it, which I personally like but may not be for everyone. TBH this is not going to be the softest feeling duvet cover you’ve ever had, in all likelihood. When I compare to my daughter’s comforter hers is a lot softer. But I also feel this fabric is more durable, and we have a 100 lb yellow lab and a 9 pound Shih Tzu that sleep with us and I feel this is more durable (actually the lab has his own bed, but manages to sneak up on ours in the middle of the night). I bought the Amazon brand white duvet to use with this cover, and it covers our King bed perfectly. It slips on like a huge pilllowcase and ties at the corners. I highly recommend it if you like the colors, a medium blue and a true white. I plan to use it til it wears out.

This set is perfection for what I was looking for. The pattern is variegated soft blues in almost a china-like or delft pattern that works so well with my wall/trim paint colors. The material is more of a linen instead of a percale or microfiber - again, what I was hoping to find. So, it’s not “super soft” but - then again - linen is not terribly soft. It has an elegant hand and feels like quality material. The shams are pocket style (no zipper), which I prefer. The duvet cover has interior ties and a “hidden” button closure. The edges of both the shams and the duvet are trimmed in a short white fringe that works very nicely with the design on the material. The price for the set was certainly very good considering what you’d pay for this in a regular retail shop. If you’re looking for “soft and cuddly” this is not your set. If you are looking for something classic, elegant, with an old-world feel, this is for you.
