To keep it short and simple this is the best beginner silicone you can get if you're looking to do just a small project or dip your toes into mold making for the very first time this is a safe expenditure of $20. It's easy to mix hard to mess up it does a fairly wonderful job degassing itself and it really really picks up the details I'm talking about the sticker from the piece of foam core board I used to make the mold box with, you can see the outline of the sticker and even make out a few of the letters where it was slightly thicker in the areas with black ink. I do arrows on the foam core board as well and those even showed up on the outside of the mold it really is pretty fantastic blows alumilite out of water in my opinion I mean I honestly can't think of a bad thing to say about this stuff... I mean I guess it does stay sticky longer than it should on the surface sometimes but I don't know what else to say this stuff will get the job done

You know there were a few things that threw me off at first like on the first page of the instructions it says to sum up keep away from UV resin at all costs LOL and then on the next page it suggests using UV resin as it's perfect for the silicone so which is it will it melt and destroy the silicone or is it perfect for it little things like that shake my trust but obviously really run into any kind of issues sometimes it's a little sticky a little wet feeling still even after curing well just make sure then to leave those areas exposed to air for a little while longer and it'll work itself out it is still like a little sticky not to touch but it attracts lint dust even after cured properly something I haven't had issue with with other silicones long story short though this is still easily four stars is a great beginner silicone it did the job it did it well and actually allowed for my first successful recast of some very tricky parts all in all well worth the $20 I wouldn't give much more than that for it though to be honest once you start getting above that price point you open up the door to a lot of different options

This silicone rubber is very easy to use, like most, it's a 1:1 ratio. It's got a pretty low viscosity, so this works really well for picking up the fine details of your positive. On the other hand, the low viscosity also means your mold barrier needs to be nearly water tight, which can be tricky for a novice just getting into creating free form molds. With other silicone rubbers I've used, I was able to get away with using plastilina and popsicle sticks for my mold barriers, as they were a bit more viscous and didn't leak out any of the small cracks that may have been present. This silicone rubber leaked out of every miniscule air gap in my rudimentary mold barrier. I just let the bottom layer set up a bit and topped off my mold again, and it turned out great. Next time I'll know to be more mindful of water tightness when using this product. It does take a little longer to set than some of the lower viscosity rubbers, but once it sets it's very flexible and feels durable. Haven't run a pull yet, but I'm hopeful I'll get many more pulls with the mold from this product than some of the others I've used. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future

Making the mold was easy, can be very sticky and hard to wash the stickiness but it does as advertised. If you plan on cutting through the mold it becomes way stickier and you cant just wait for the insides to become solid again it will stay that way. I recommend using gloves.
