I'd have upgraded my review to 4-1/2 stars but no half stars are allowed. Nilight customer service for me was *stellar*. It was an easy to get the defective light replaced in the warranty period. Had these worked "out of the box" (as they have for many people) it would have easily earned 5 stars. Overall, I'm quite happy with them. Quality materials, excellent light output and color. If they can increase their quality during their assembly process they'd be perfect. I'll continue to do business with Nilight.

This motion sensor switch has long range comparing with other. I installed the TP-Link motion sensor switch before. Although the cost of TP-link didn't cost much more than this sensor switch but range distance played a bigger role as I installed in the basement at the entrance of the bedroom.

Great flood lights. We use them to light up the corners of the race track on a race car and they work perfectly. They have a great amount of light output and not too high of an amperage draw. The quality seems high and these will last a long time.

Very bright little lights. Nice broad, evenly lit area, illuminates plenty of depth for my application. I mounted theses on my boat trailer and wired them for reverse lights. No problems at all with moisture. However, as a precaution I did add additional sealant around the lenses and where the wires exit the light housing. I would recommend to anyone. I submerge them every time I use the boat. Excellent little lights.Update. I placed these on boat trailer in 2019. I fish and duck hunt. They have been submerged 30+ times a year. Tonight I noticed one of the lights flickering, it works but I can see the fluttering as I backed up. That light has moisture inside as well.

It turns the light on/off---manually or because someone enters the space or has left. It works with LEDS (older switches don't). It's expensive, BUT...You can adjust the time the light stays on after the room is empty. (Don't want the lights to go out while you're in the shower)You can adjust the distance at which the switch senses a person, and you can shutter the sensor to reduce the area that the sensor views. (This prevents the light coming on when someone walks by the open doorway of a room with the switch). With the range adjustment and wide angle view, the switch functions in larger areas like my garage and shop even when I enter from the opposite side and stays on no matter where I am in the room.Because my shop and garage have a lot of light fixtures, watt capacity of a switch is an issue even with LED's (lower watt consumption). This switch will handle larger loads.You can adjust the switch to always come on or to only come on in low light situations.Great for bathrooms, storage rooms, basements, garages, shops, barns, outbuildings, stairways. Great if it's dark or you have your hands full. People walk through the house and outbuildings with lights turning on as they approach and going out after they pass. No looking for switches; no lights left on.This seller's price lowest price is pretty good, but depending on the switch color, the price could be wacky and variable.CAUTION: The instructions are clearly written, but the devil is in the details. If the switch fails to work properly, it's most likely installer error. For example: there is an "off/on/auto" toggle on the front-bottom of the switch that has a purpose (never mind what), but it is not accessible with the switch cover plate on. You wouldn't know it's there if you didn't read the instructions. If you "fat-thumb" that toggle out of the "auto" position during installation, the switch will never work, and you won't know why.The switch is automatic. You can switch it off manually as you leave, but it will automatically turn on if someone passes in range. This is hardly a problem, but if you really want to make it inoperable sometimes, you can install it downhill of a normal off/on light switch.A switch ONLY for those who like to tinker. Not for the "feint of heart."

Esto es una estafa, cuesta mucho y no hace lo que se dice de el.1) Sensa y prende cuando quiere, a ratos si, a ratos no.Si prendes manualmente, nunca sabes si quedo activado o no, asi que la siguiente seguro tienes que prender manualmente, y no sabes si dejar la luz encendida para quye apague solo pues la mitad de la veces no lo hara.2) Prendera la luz aun de dia, no tiene IR (o funciona tan mal que no sirve)

These were installed two months ago at a bar and a kitchen after upgrading the existing fluorescent lights from T12 (magnetic ballasted) to T8 (electronic ballast).For a circuit to operate there must be a complete current path. Touch the tip of the battery to the light bulb of a flashlight and nothing will happen. Put the battery cap on and slide the switch and it works.The older motion detectors received the power for their circuitry by pulling a small current through the lights. With modern electronic ballast (fluorescent lights) and drivers (LEDs), the small current pulled through the light by the older motion detectors will energize the capacitors and these lights will try to start, but with the switch off they will quickly fade (flicker). This process may repeat.This switch powers its circuitry by drawing current through the hot (black) wire and ground (bare) wire. One of the switches worked intermittently. This was due to a loose connection between the EMT/conduit (metal pipe with the wire inside) and an electrical junction box (3 boxes before the switch). The EMT supplied the ground connection to the switch.Once a good ground connection was provided, the switch worked as desired.The blinders function well to prevent movement in an adjacent room from causing activation.

My only complaint is it is a bit pricy, but I suppose you only get what you pay for. The auto adjusting timing and the shutters work fine. The shutters are for blocking when someone is just passing the doorway and not entering the room. The available light sensing works well also, so if the room is lit by daylight from the window the lights do not come on, but if you want them on, just press the button and turn them on manually. The lights will still shut off automatically when the room is vacated.
