This glass is solid and gorgeous. This is a lovely modern spin on the classic glass doorknob.The overall build of the brass plated zinc is good quality. It's your basic interior knob quality. Zinc hardware tends to be pretty solid for this type of interior application. The finish looks great with it's soft brushed yellow brass tone.Installation is simple on a standard door. All parts are provided, you just need is a screwdriver.Mechanically it works well.A little tip from experience, the more precise you can be with installation, the better and quieter the knob will turn. A square backplate can be tricky to level. This mean trying to get the interior latch as straight as possible so the square plate will appear perfect on both sides of the door.When a square plate is crooked on a door, it can be an eye-burning experience.The price is off the charts affordable.I've recently purchased some of the "big brand" hardware, with satin brass and glass, and it cost six times more than this. Yes I said 6.Admittedly, the brand name it is a bit heavier overall, but interior use doesn't require that super heavy build. This does the same job, and looks just as good for a fraction of the price.
