I have a ton of (brand name removed) M18 batteries that are used in various different capacities daily. But what I do not have enough of is light sources that run off of those batteries. I recently ran over the (name brand removed) light and it was unsalvageable. So, in the search for a replacement, I came across this.Here are my thoughts:The light arrived quickly and was packaged well. The box was super light, so I was hesitant at first regarding the quality. Turns out it is pretty solid.It has a pretty good-sized light head with a plastic diffuser that really floods the light out evenly. Kind of gives it a warm yet bright tone.The light is adjustable as well, meaning the different modes put out different amounts of light. I attempted to get pictures of this, but they all kind of looked the same so I just posted the one (me holding it.)It does have the typical SOS and “strobe” which is basically just a slow flash, that you find on imported flashlights.Overall, this is a great addition to the battery powered light sources and will be abused heavily in and around the shop.Highly recommend!

Construction quality is good, not great. Fits 5ah batteries fine the 12ah doesn't fit under the bracket. The hook is functional but doesn't feel super sturdy. As long as you don't abuse it, I think it'll hold up fine and puts out plenty of light. I wish it was a warmer color temperature, it's probably 5000-6500k.

It's a very bright light that can be hooked on to something for jobsite use.I can see myself using it in basement or attics where no light is present. The best part is the hook, as it allows me to position it in a way that shines light on the area I am working. I used it under the sink to help repair a small leak. It lit up the entire work space and I was able to easily locate the source of the leak.There are several modes, from a nightlight, 50%, 100% and strobe feature. I can see myself using the nightlight during camping season. For me, 50% is the best one as it's not too bright, provides decent light and does not use up the battery quickly. The strobe feature it a good feature to have in an emergency and would allow one to quickly signal if they had to, but I probably won't be using that.Overall great light. Good brightness. Decent construction. Works with my batteries. I would recommend it.

The light works fine as a flood light for a small area but I was expecting it to be brighter for use of a shop light when working on projects. It serves a purpose, just not the purpose I was looking for.
